About us
Welcome to Our House in France
We are a Danish family who, after a few years of talking and searching, took the plunge: We bought a house in the South of France – near Alès, surrounded by vineyards, lavender and the sound of cicadas.

The family
On a daily basis we are Bjarne and Anne Birgitte.
and our very spoiled but lovely dog Saxo. We are both in our late fifties and both have full-time jobs - Bjarne works in maintenance in a hotel chain and I work in HR . When we are on holiday and have fun, we are often together with our 3 children, son-in-law and 5 grandchildren aged 3-13. We have been going on ski holidays together for a number of years, but in the last few years we have replaced the skis with a pool in the South of France, where we have rented a holiday home with a pool. The pool is an important element in the success of the holiday.
