Getting the house ready for use
When we bought our house in Mejannes Les-Alés, there were things we would like to improve.
We have worked with renovating houses before, so we know the work that goes into it. But buying a house in France also means that we can't just drop by on a weekend or after work. Therefore, when we bought it, we were also aware that it wouldn't require extensive renovation before we could use the house.
These were things that needed to be done to begin with, and then there were things that could come over time.

Indoor makeover
In the past, the French were very fond of using lots of color in their houses. However, we would like to change that. See our starting point and follow the transformation.

The terrace
We know that the terrace and pool area play an important role in a good holiday experience and therefore we want to optimize our terrace and pool area.

The garden
The previous owners were an elderly couple around 80 years old, and the 3200 sq m plot had been too much of a task in recent years. So pruning and cleaning up are needed.

Poolen
A lovely pool but it needs new control - more automatic, and at the same time we would like to convert it into a saltwater pool.
