– outdoor space makeover
When we go on holiday in France, it's usually in the best weather – and then we have to barbecue, relax and swim in the pool. That's why it's important for us to create outdoor areas that invite both relaxation and socializing.
We have several different outdoor spaces on the property that we want to give a makeover. There are various terraces and activity areas where we want to create better settings for outdoor comfort and play.
First makeover
The pool area got a new lease of life
The area around the pool was anything but inviting. An old metal pergola, lots of weeds and an uneven paving made it sad to look at. That's why we gave the area our first makeover – and what a transformation! In our work, it was important to create a solution that would require a minimum of care in the long term.
With fiberglass, 10 tons of marble gravel and a brand new pergola, we have created a stylish and functional outdoor space that is perfect for relaxation and summer fun. Now the pool area is not only practical, but also a nice gathering point when we are on holiday in France. We still need some details like painting the woodwork and some garden furniture, but we will get that sorted out during the spring.
Alley and driveway
We arrived at the house in Mejannes les Ales and were greeted by a sight of weeds and wilted plants. It was clear that we needed to create peace and simplicity in the driveway and the avenue up to the gate from the road. Now we are waiting for the new plants to take hold so that we can see leaves and flowers in the summer.
